This pilot project

focuses on 100 women coffee farmers from Pitalito, Oporapa, and Timaná, who are receiving these fertilizers alongside on going technical support.

Huila,

Known for its high-quality coffee, faces challenges related to sustainability.
By introducing these fertilizers, the project aims to reduce the carbon footprint of coffee production while promoting regenerative agriculture, which enhances soil health and biodiversity. This initiative aligns with global efforts to combat climate change and supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Yara’s involvement is key to the project’s success. Their expertise in sustainable agriculture and commitment to supporting the farmers ensures that these women have the tools and knowledge they need to thrive. The project is already showing results, with farmers reporting reduced costs and improved coffee quality, opening doors to new markets and opportunities for premium pricing.

Together, we are not just cultivating coffee; we are building a legacy of empowerment and sustainability that will benefit generations to come.
